Pillar Box for Maternity Gift Tutorial

Hi Crafters

Welcome back to Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspirations,
as promised two weeks have passed since my last post.
Here I am to give you a tutorial on the pillar box template
on the CdRom called ONE FOR THE GIRLS.

Materials
Groove board and scoring tool
CD Rom Template and Pre Coloured Picture
Scissors, Glue or double sided tape

Step One
Print out and cut out the template
Print out the image from the CD Rom
Using the scoring tool score the dotted lines
When scored you can fold these lines more easily

 Step Two
Fold in the long side
You can see on the picture below where you fold
and add your glue or double sided tape to join the
long sides together

Step Three
You can see the shape after you glued the sides together
Fold  then you fold in the end pieces on each edge
You may glue one end in place.
Leaving one end loose to place the gift inside
Now you have a pillar box for the gift

Final picture shows the pre coloured image glued on the
pillar box and some bows added.
You can decorate has you wish.

Thanks for stopping by, be back in two weeks with a
card from the same CD Rom.

Cheers

Shaker card

Hi,
my new project for Crafty Sentiments Inspirations is a Shaker card.
For this project, you need :
Cardstock : 15 cm x 15 cm
                         4,5 cm x 15 cm
                        for these dies
Papiers : 14,6 cm x 14,6 cm
                    3 cm x 15 cm
For the shaker :
Cut the cardstock as photo.
Use a plastic and cut it with dies

Stick it with cardstock.

Use foam on backside and use glitters.
Stick an image and think to return it before stick.
Stick all papers with your sketch.
Stick the shaker on your card.
And now decorate your card as you want.
I  use "Isobel - Bubble" and colouring it with my copics.
Thanks for your visit.

Taking Pictures Easel Card Tutorial

Good morning - it's Helen here with a tutorial to shown you how to make this card.  Its's variation on a traditional easel card and is very easy to make.

I've used the very cute 'Taking Pictures' stamp which is here in the Crafty Sentiments Designs shop.

And here's what you need to do:

1. Stamp the 'Taking Pictures' stamp on to white card and trim to 10cm by 5cm.  Colour the image with your choice of colouring medium and then mat on to dark brown paper measuring 10.5cm by 5.5cm and a piece of kraft card measuring 11cm by 6cm as shown in the photo above.

2, Open out a 12cm card blank and cut from the outside of the card to the fold at 4cm and 8cm - this will split half of the card in to three pieces.  Trim along the card fold to give the shape shown in the photo above.

3. Fold the remaining panel in half and score well to form the easel part of the card as shown in the photo above

4. Decorate the base of the card as shown in the photo below.  If you're making the card for someone special, you can use a map which relates to somewhere they live

6. Stamp your sentiment on to white card, trim and then mat on to dark brown and kraft card again.  Attach this to be base of the card using foam pads - this is the 'stopper' for your card.  Attach the image panel to the front of the folded 'easel' part ensuring the image is central on the card. I've added some black gems to the image panel to finish the card.

And here's how your finished card will look.

I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial. Have a wonderful weekend!
