Simple Sketch Tutorial

Hi Crafters

Welcome back to Crafty Sentiments Designs today I have a tutorial for you all.

My tutorial is to show you how to use a simple sketch to create a card.

6 x 6 card, image called Isobel Roses, papers, sentiment
sketch chart, promarkers, double sided tape

 Step One
Make a chart to work to
sample below I'm using

 Step Two
Cut your base layer to fit the 6 x 6 card, stick to your card

Step Three
Cut your side piece, doesn't have to match to bottom
(this will be covered  by next layer)

Step Four
Cut your next layer and stick to the bottom of the card
(see below) I used paper with lace pattern
you can add lace itself if you wish

Step Five
Add the image (you can layer card under the image to highlight the image more
add in the place as per your sketch
picture below shows the comparing of the sketch and the card
Last step add the sentiment
(again I have layer this up with same card under the image)

Completed card

Hope you will have a go with this
Next tutorial next month will be more complex sketch with embellishments

Showcasing Lady Bird

Hello everyone!!!!

Patricia here showcasing our day 3 of our new release. I used the new stamp called Lady Bird that  you can find at the Crafty Sentiments Designs shop.

I colored the image with SpectrumNoir markers, although the skin (as it is being usual) was colored with Copics.

I used a die cut from Fiskars for the hexagon and a Honeycomb embossing folder from Darice. The paper is from The blossoms butterflies from DCWV.

I hope you like the card and the new release. So cute!!!!
