Tutorial Time - Using a punch to add apertures down the side of your card by Sue N

Hi Crafters

Welcome back to Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration Blog and Tutorials

Instead of buying cards with side aperture why not creation your own.

So as the title says, today I have a quick tutorial to show
how to use a punch
to add apertures down side of your card.

I have used pre coloured image, papers, sentiment from the CD Rom called

Step One - Materials

Punch, card, pencil, ruler

Step Two
Measure where you would like the punch holes
to be on your card using a pencil

Step Three
Carefully punch out with the punch where you have marked.
It helps if you can turn the punch upside down.
You can position the punch better
And punch ..............

Step Four

I decided for this tutorial to do two punch apertures,
but you can do as many as you like,
larger the card, more you can add.
Rub off any of the pencil marks
Decorate your card as you wish

Final Card
I have added a strip of the papers inside the card, so you see
the paper through the side aperture.

My next tutorial we will add aperture in the middle
of the front of the card using a die cutting machine.

Please treat yourself at the CSD shop
